Hab mal was in nem Jay-Z Interview über Ghost gelesen. Meint er damit das dasd Album gefloppt ist?
Do It Again
You wanna know why it’s just been announced that Ghostface has a new album supposedly coming out this Dec? Maybe ’cause President Carter hasn’t gotten over the failure of Fishscale. Taking a break from talk of his new LP, Jay spoke on his continued support of Ghostface despite the brick he caught last spring.
Jay-Z:
“All you can do is make a great album. You know, that’s all you can do. People can throw a million dollars in marketing at it, but if it doesn’t catch, or, in these days, if you don’t have a record that’s not spinning every second on the radio and you don’t have the most mass attention on the project from an audience standpoint, then, I mean, there’s nothing you can do about it. He made a great album. You gotta make a great album. I think he should be proud of the fact that he made a great album. I spoke to Ghostface so he’s cool. But, you know, hopefully, next time.”

Hört sich ja interessant an.
Aber hoffentlich hört sich das Album dann auch gut an.
Denn man ist es ja net gewohnt, dass Ghost zwei Alben in einem Jahr droppt. ^^

Hier mal wieder was von MTv.
Ghostface Killah Warms Up Leftover Fish For Second 2006 Album
December 12's More Fish features rapper's son, Sun God, and the rest of Theodore Unit.
By Jayson Rodriguez
NEW YORK — When Ghostface Killah heard Def Jam was looking for him to release another album — his second full project of the year — the rapper took inventory of his rhyme stock.
Fortunately for the label, and his fans, Ghost had some extra material from March's Fishscale (see "Ghostface Killah Spins Tales From The 'Hood On Fishscale") that resulted in the forthcoming More Fish, due December 12.
"I had Fish leftover in the fridge," Ghostface said. "When I got the call and they asked me, [I had to tell them] it takes me awhile to go ahead and make an album. You have to write and make a vision. But I had a couple of nice pieces of Fish over here and then I had cooked up some more stuff, probably like another nine or 10 joints, and just went in. But what I did was spread it amongst the family, my Theodore [Unit] brothers, which includes my son [Sun God], Trife and Wigs."
Ghost said More Fish is a sequel of sorts to Fishscale, with the Wu lyricist working with roughly the same production staple. He also said the album serves as a prelude to the next project by Theodore Unit, his side rap collective.
After working with the Wu-Tang Clan and now with Theodore Unit, Ghost said he's ready to mentor his young protégés. He even feels his newer crew is comparable to his esteemed Shaolin set.
"These guys are a lot younger. We been around each other for a long time," Ghost said. "But I grew with Wu. We had a lot of fun, and it was different mentalities. Theodore Unit, we're not as big as Wu, but we do the same thing, we help each other. They give me a line, I give them a line, whatever. It's similar, but the only difference is these dudes are a lot younger.
"So now I'm raising these bothers right here to go through what I done went through and seen," he added.
With "Ghost Is Back" and "Good" from the forthcoming album already heating up the streets, one of the far more interesting tracks has to be "God 2 God," which finds Ghost going one-on-one with his 17-year-old son over a searing soul sample. The two exchange braggadocio lines
as Sun God spits, "Will Smith on the guest list/ Pops is the king, I'm the Fresh Prince."
Ghost admitted his son posed a bit of a problem for him during their collaboration. The rapper noted how quickly Sun God wrote his rhymes, which isn't something that comes as easy for him anymore, according to Ghost. But all in all, he said he enjoyed the experience and compared it to a regular father-son outing.
"It's more or less like a funny game of baseball," Ghost said. "We just go in, he writes his stuff, I write mine. On one record we got, we helped each other out — the one we got together — and that's it. That's my man right there. That's my blood. He do what he do. He has talent. I'm just proud to see him come up to be like his Pops a little something."

Hab das mal hier rein, da es ja ned nur um More Fish geht.
With his second album of the year, More Fish, due next month, Ghostface Killah recently spoke about his new CD, the current state of hip-hop and his conspicuous absence from Wu-Tang Clan's "VH1 Hip-Hop Honors" performance.
While completing an album often proves to be a struggle for most artists, Tony Starks knocked out the follow-up to Fishscale in under nine months, exhibiting a drive that has undoubtedly pleased the execs over at Def Jam.
"I needed to do it, I had to keep my name out there," Ghostface said. "Def Jam wanted another album real fast. We got money to make in the fourth quarter."
The album features appearances from Redman, Sheek Louch and the Theodore Unit. Ghost's son, Sun God, is also featured on the album.
"That's my oldest right there, he's getting busy," Ghostface proudly said. "We're just doing what we do."
While fellow Wu-member and labelmate Method Man has more than alluded to being discontented at Def Jam, Ghostface expressed some gratitude toward his home label, "You know, I'm still fresh there, and they're still fresh. We're just giving each other a chance. I just got a roof over my head right now."
While Ghostface has been critical toward hip-hop previously, he seems to have mellowed toward the current state of the music, "It is what it is. I don't hate it. Hip-Hop is universal, but the East Coast gotta work at getting what we're used to."
Heads that tuned in to the "VH1's Hip-Hop Honors" this year had to be disappointed when Tony Starks didn't show for the group's tribute and televised reunion performance. However, fans shouldn't be alarmed. Ghost missed the show due to a scheduling conflict.
"I was in Europe performing for the Europeans and all that," Ghost explained. "'Hip-Hop Honors' was supposed to be done in August originally, so I switched my Europe dates to October. Then they switched the show to October but I had my commitments already done."
More Fish hits stores December 12 via Def Jam.

Due to many miscellaneous random tracks circulating through the streetd and the 'net', different mixtapes and compilations have been released. One of the stars this has affected is Ghostface Killah. Well Traffic Entertainment Group is proud to announce "Ghostface Unreleased", to officially BE released through the stores and here as well at CHAMBERMUSIK. Look for a late February release... P.S., could Raekwon be next as well? Stay on the look out.
thanx @ CM
