Ghostface Killah Talks 'Iron Man 2' And The Price Of A Tony Starks Cameo

Wu-Tang Clan member and comic book fan Ghostface Killah, who filmed a cameo in "Iron Man" as a Dubai tycoon, never ended up making it into the final cut of the film—even though his "We Celebrate" video did. So, when we sat down with the man who goes by the name "Tony Starks" to discuss his upcoming album plans, we had to ask if he's giving it another shot with "Iron Man 2."
Unfortunately, Ghost said he hasn't heard from director Jon Favreau or anyone else involved with the film... yet.
"I don't know about this new Iron Man s---," Ghost told MTV News. "They didn't call me, so I'm not in it."
Even so, he shared some thoughts about his "Iron Man" movie experience.
"I got paid last time, though," he laughed. "I got 30Gs last time."
So, while you shouldn't expect to see Ghostface Killah in the sequel to last year's blockbuster, at least you know how much a cameo in the film can yield. (Oh, and if anyone talks to Jon Favreau soon, tell him I'd do the film for free. Call me!)

The feud between Ghostface Killah and 50 Cent is officially over. In a recent interview with XXLMag.com, the Wu-Tang vet said that his beef with Fif is a thing of the past.

As fans know, the two New York rappers had a public war of words years back, after 50 included the Shaolin heavyweight on 1999’s “How to Rob.” Ghost notoriously then fired back on a skit from his critically acclaimed Supreme Clientele album, as the deep-throated Clyde Smith. “Yo that nigga 50 Cent, I don’t even know why he did that lil bum ass shit right there,” he said. “But I’ma tell you something. You can say all them other niggas names but niggas gonna see you based on that big daddy…If I see you up in here I’ma have about 500 wolves on you…like I said 50 you a bird and niggas gonna see you.”

After seeing an interview with Starks on Fif’s web site, thisis50.com, XXL asked Tony what caused the change of heart. “That’s some old-school shit,” he shared. “Back then, things were all snowballed in the air on some other shit. I didn’t like what he said, that’s where it all started from anyway. But we kicked it on the phone one time, and after we kicked it on the phone that was it.”

“I aint really trying to hold no grudge fucking 30 years later after he done said whatever the fuck he done said,” Starks continued. “So it was like whatever.”

Ghost says he would even be open for recording a song with Fif.

“It’s whatever God wills,” he said. “At the end of the day we’re still people just trying to get ahead. It’s like you’re having a fight with a muthafucka 10 years ago… you can either keep the grudge or be like ‘yo wattup’ and just let it go and shit, it’s like what the fuck I’m holding on to it for. I respect all these niggas. As long as you respect me, I’ma respect you.”

Ghostface Killah Blames Jay-Z For No Buzz

Long time Wu-Tang member Ghostface Killah recently spoke about the lack of buzz his new "She's A Killer" single has, a collaboration that includes Auto-Tune user Ron Browz. Ghostface, beyond blaming Jay-Z and his "Death Of Autotune" single for "death of his single," explained the concept behind it.

"I had Ron Browz on it," Ghost said about the track. "It was about a co-defendant of mine, she was real sexy and putting in work, real pretty and she'll slay you. She'll rock you to sleep and get whatever you got. She'd do anything, everybody liked her -- We let it out but then your boy Jay-Z came with that f*cking 'Death of [Autotune]' sh*t and vocalled the sh*t and smashed my f*cking joint, you know what I mean? He smashed my sh*t with that sh*t, I understand, I felt like how Jay felt but when I did the record, I didn't care about all that sh*t, 'cause I'm just worried about me. So when he came with that sh*t, that 'Death of' a lot of deejays were on that 'Yeah yeah,' sucking his d*ck. And now left your boy out there with a record that would have been bubbling on some other sh*t though, you know what I mean? It's all good though."

Ghostface's next album will be a duet album with Raheem Devaughn
R&B singer Raheem Devaughn has hinted that he will re-link with recent collaborator Ghostface Killah to record a full length duet album.

While keeping details to a minimum, Raheem said they are on the verge of sealing the deal.

"Yeah I'm on two songs on the [Wizard of Poetry] album and it's like the latest turn of events," Devaughn revealed in an interview to radio personality Angela Yee. "We real close to finalizing a possible Raheem Devaughn and Ghostface Killah album, you know what I'm saying? Where it would be like a collabo joint, you know. I think he got a great chemistry going." (Team Yee)

Ghostface will appear in a movie with Tapanga from Boy Meets World
Style Network TV Host, Danielle Fishel, who writes and stars on the hit show, “The Dish” is said to be casted in a Hip Hop movie to be a mix of “Pink Floyd’s “The Wall” and cult classic, “V for Vendetta”. The movie written and produced by Universal Recording Artist, Michael Barber, is now being bought by an independent film company. Lions Gate Films will distribute the film, and Universal Records will distribute the musical album.

Danielle, who is most famous for her role as teen actor, Tapanga, in the TGIF show, “Boy Meets World”. Is said to have played a pivotal role in the writing of her character for the film. Ms. Fishel writes for three TV shows.

Michael Barber, who signed to Universal Records last April, has just recently released his second installment of his Motion Picture Mayhem series. The lead single “Swayzzed” featuring pop singer, Akon is currently a top ten song on 24 different music play list. Michael’s video for the second single, “World on a String” is schedule to air on the show, “The Dish” November 14th.

Michael, who met Danielle at a Breast Cancer Awareness Event in Dallas, Texas,was very intrigued with how smart Danielle was, and “How she really go behind the character and idea of this movie”. The two have plans to help raise awareness for Skin Cancer with a tour called, "Protect Ya Neck 2010 Tour".

Also scheduled to appear in the movie is Wu Tang Clan member, Ghostface.

Ghostface, Talib Kweli will perform In Diabetes Benefit in Brooklyn
Ghostface Killah, Talib Kweli, Jay Electronica, and other artists will be performing next week in Brooklyn to raise awareness for diabetes.

Titled "Mind. Body. Soul.," the show will be hosted by Okayplayer, A Tribe Called Quest Member Phife Dawg and actor Michael Rapaport.

Phife and Ghostface both have diabetes; Phife recently received a kidney transplant as a result of it.

During the event, diabetic support organizations will provide information to and accept donations from concert-goers.

"Mind. Body. Soul." takes place on Wednesday (Jan. 20) at 8:00 PM at The Knitting Factory in Brooklyn, NY. Fans looking to gain free admittance should email rsvp@theheavysound.com before the day of the show.

Ghost should do'n'drop Ironman II around the time the Movie Ironman2 Drops
Rae delivered OB4CL2 and it was a dope album- In a couple of years we may be looking back and saying that this was a classic album. One thing is for sure though, he undoubtedly created the greatest two-part series album of all time.

With that said, Ghost should try and do what Rae did. He should make a sequel to Ironman. Now, mostly people would say 'Supreme Clientele' is Ghost's best album, so Why a Sequel to Ironman?

The Sequel to Ironman, the movie, will be coming out, and I think that would be an amazing marketing plan if Ghost released a sequel to Ironman, the album, around the same time the movie drop. He could do what 'Hov did for American Gangster-- The concept of taking each individual scene and inking a track out of them.

Lately, we've been hearing Ghost rip tracks up. We saw him tear shit up on OB4CLII, and he was vicious on Wu-Massacre. Meth, Ghost, & Rae had "Box In Hand" on 'Ironman', the trio thst did the Massacre can continue that theme on their latest drop on 'Ironman II' while at the same time making a sequel to an 'Ironman' favorite-joint by doing a "Box In Hand II."

Cappadonna played a significant role on 'Ironman', and almost everyone will tell you Cappa has fallen the fuck off since 'Winter Warz', however, we saw the trio of Ghost, Rae, & Cappa do their thing on CBL2's 'Three Bricks'.

Just like how Ghost was the co-star on OB4CL & ptII, Rae co-starred on Ironman and the way he's spitting right now, should be far from a disappointment on Ironman II-
That is, if Ghost decided to follow the formula of the original recipe.

We heard no Verbal Intercourse II on CL2 but maybe it would find it's way on Ironman II, or maybe that will be left for Rae's 'Shaolin VS Wu-Tang', or maybe on one of Nas' future LP's.

Ghost said in an interview that he has 4 albums already penned down...
I think he should make 'Ironman II' a reality...
Maybe make it a double LP,
Disc One - Ironman II
Disc Two - Supreme Clientele II.
